participate in a series of Employer Stimulus
Seminar Workshops to be held at the Erie County
‘Your Job Store’; 5500
Milan Road, Suite 386B; Sandusky, Ohio. The Employer Stimulus
Workshops are the second part of the series of
presentations mentioned at the Employer Stimulus
Seminar that was held on June 11, 2009. We are
offering three Hands-on workshops based upon the
three Major topics covered at the Employer Stimulus
Seminar
www.OhioMeansJobs.com ;The Business Gateway
System; and the Labor Market Information) and their
websites that are available to employers. Many
employers who attended the Seminar on June 11th
asked for these further
workshops. Registration on February 18th is from
1:00 – 1:15 pm. The Ohio Means Jobs Presentation
is from: 1:15 pm–
4:00 pm. Event is open to all Employers. If you are
interested, please complete and return the enclosed
registration forms. There is
no cost of
participation.
The
deadline for
registration is Friday February 5, 2009 for the February
16th and February 18th workshops; and March 5th for the
March 11th workshop.
Please complete attached reservation forms
early as space will
be reserved. The first 20 employers responding are
guaranteed a seat with computer access to the
internet.
Mark Birnbrich, Ohio
Means Jobs (OMJ) website administrator, will be
presenting and facilitating a hands-on workshop
that will enable employers to access the
www.ohiomeansjobs.com website, create job postings, review
Resumes, and other available information through
ohiomeansjobs.
Jay Bahr, Ohio
Department of Development, will be presenting and
facilitating the Ohio Business Gateway System (OBG)
through a hands-on workshop that will enable
employers to utilize the various parts of the Business
Gateway System for specific needs of their business.
Thomas Buescher,
Labor Market Analyst for Ohio Department of Labor,
will be presenting and facilitating a
hands-on workshop that will enable employers to
access several websites available, to provide vital Labor
Market Information (LMI) on employment trends and
job development criteria for creation of job
specific descriptions and other relevant
information.
